Seth's first few weeks...

So I hope everyone can understand why my blog has been so neglected recently. Between becoming the mother of the most wonderful kid ever and Christmas, I just had more important things to do. But now that things are starting to die down, I'd love to show just a little more of my sweet little man! I've taken a few pictures of my own, and plan on taking tons more (obviously), and my sister-in-law, Diana, did some newborn pics as well. You can see those pictures on her blog. She's amazing, as always!

I've taken just a few pictures of our precious little man, as you might have imagined :) But since I've been so behind on posting, I only have time to share just a few... There will be more to come! I just can't believe how much he as grown already!!

Seth has arrived!

Seth Cory Robbins was born on December 9, 2008 at 7:38 am! He weighed in at 7lbs 8oz and was 21.5 in long. Matthew and I are so thrilled to finally welcome our little man into the family!! My wonderful husband put together this video of his birth....enjoy!

I can't wait to share more about him, but I want to take this opportunity to go get a nap :)

The Skoog Family

While we were in Batesville hanging out at Matthew's parents for the weekend, we decided to do an impromptu family photo session of the Skoog family. Jennifer is Matthew's sister, which makes those adorable children two of our eight nieces and nephews.....I just can't get enough of all these cute kids! We are really blessed - and baby Robbins has a lot of cuteness to live up to....

Christmas is just around the corner!

With the soon arrival of Baby Robbins, Matthew and I felt added pressure to get all our Christmas decorations up! Even though every year we always put our tree up the weekend of Thanksgiving, we were afraid that we may not even make it to that weekend to get our tree and decorate it! Well, apparently I'm not one of the lucky ones who gets to have their baby super early, so we had plenty of time. :) I absolutely love this time of year, and to now get to have the anticipation of not only Christmas, but a new baby, is incredibly exciting!! Since I tend to forget to take pictures of things going on in OUR lives (I know, it's pathetic - occupational hazard), I decided to document some of the Christmas decorations...

It was fun hanging 3 stockings....one for each member of our growing family!!

Matthew hanging up the lights....He does it so well! So nicely scattered :)

Some new ornaments I'm excited about - the 12 days of Christmas...

And for the tree this year, we had plenty of new ornaments to work with. Matthew and I have started a tradition that any time we take a trip, we get an ornament from that place. This year was a busy year for us, because we had lots of new ornaments - San Francisco, Las Vegas, Virginia Beach, and the Carnival Cruise, just to name a few!

Ok, baby Robbins - we're ready for you! :)

The Bogan kids

So my sister finally was able to round me up to do some pictures of my sweet niece and nephew, Baron and Malea. The shoot was focused around Malea, capturing the sweet peanut (that's what we call her) at the age of 1. It's always fun to shoot family! I just love these kids....

The Pearce Family

'Tis the season for family portraits! Last weekend, I photographed the family of my fabulous hair stylist (and friend), Michelle. We were able to include Michelle and her husband, her brother and his family, and her mom, not to mention the furry members of the family as well! Here are a few of my favorites from our very cold photo shoot....
