WPPI 2008

Last week I had the privilege of attending the biggest photography trade show: WPPI. Not only that, but the trade show and convention is held in Las Vegas! It was my first time for both, so I was super excited about what this week was going to bring! The days were jammed pack with sessions with amazing photographers, a HUGE tradeshow, and lots of eating and resting.....it was madness! I really enjoyed my time, although I developed a horrible cold while I was out there, which I am still recovering from! I'm still trying to catch up on my sleep (I think it's the jetlag). Although I really want to take a nap right now, I'm posting this because if I don't do it now, who knows when I'll do it! :) Blog first, nap second.

So here are some pictures from the week. Mind you, all these pictures were taken with my little point and shoot (I decided not to bring my big camera and give myself a break for the week).....

We stayed at Ballys....
Diana, Chrissy, and I waiting to hear some speakers...
Best speaker I heard all week - Jerry Ghoinis
Listening to Joe Buissink and Denis Reggie...
Just a taste of the tradeshow....
One of my favorites - David Jay

Diana, Laura, and I at the airport waiting to come home!
One last and final picture: This was taken in a photobooth at the Pictage party - sorry the quality is so bad. I was too lazy to scan it, so I took the picture with my iPhone. Glossy paper and iPhone do not mix, but oh well! In this picture is Diana, her mom Liz Power, sister Becca, and me. I seriously want one of these booths for my house!

I met some fun people, made some good purchases, and filled my brain with all sorts of photo goodness that I hope to apply to my shooting and my business. All in all, it was a good week!
